The inner soul/spirit everybody has works the same way.
We got the flesh then the Seibutsu which is the gooey flesh of your spiritual energy. Inside your Seibutsu flesh is your goopy go shield connected to your inner sight which are always closed unless something cause them to open. This Goopy shield surround its hard glass shell which protects the your inner Chimeric.
These Seibutsus are shaped in the same form as the hosts normal flesh with a goopy sub like fur, Smooth thin scales, 5 sets of eyes, and subby feet. Seibutsus come in 3 types. Normal blue, black and red, and albino. Blue being the most common and the albino being the most rarest. Seibutsus can only be seen in the spiritual realm which can only be seen people whos inner sight are open.

Your inner sight is the important part of your soul/spirit. When ever this goopy substance breaks, your inner sight opens. This leaves your hard glass shell vulnerable. There are rare occasions where the host has opened the inner sight without breakage. This rare occasion has never been done before. Some places will preform practices in order to see the other world in it always came with a cost on leaving them weak.
